1) Speaker Dan Hawkins does not have the 84 votes required for redistricting in the Kansas House to override a veto by Governor Laura Kelly redistricting. Why would you label the decision not to introduce redistricting in the 2026 legislative session as “cowardly” if it has no path forward?
