Public Servant Webinar Format

The length of the webinar will be mostly dependent on number of attendees/voters interacting.

15 minutes or less candidate message  |  55 minutes or less interaction with voters |  10 minutes or less for closing

Each webinar will be for 90 minutes (scroll down for sections).  There will be four blocks available to request a Zoom Public Servant Webinar.  Public servant candidate can have only one webinar in each block.

1. Introduction (3 minutes)

  • Moderator welcomes attendees

  • Explains the format and how to submit personal expressions

  • Outlines webinar etiquette and participation guidelines

2. Public Servant Candidate Statement (15 minutes or less)

  • Candidate introduces themselves

  • Shares background, platform, and vision

3. During step 1 and 2

  • Voters submit personal expressions (“I” statements) via the Q&A feature/button on bottom bar

  • Upvoting of submitted personal expressions begins

4. “I” Messages and Responses (not more than 55 minutes)

  • Moderator considers top-voted personal expressions

  • Public servant responds (Each response limited to 5 minutes)

  • Additional expressions may be submitted and upvoted during this period

5. Public Servant Candidate Summary (10 minutes or less)

  • Candidate gives a closing statement

  • Reflects on the conversation and reinforces key messages

6. Moderator Closing (3 minutes)

  • Recaps the webinar

  • Highlights common themes and expressions

  • Encourages future participation and next steps
